Leak Detection & Repair
Hidden leaks behind walls, under slabs, or in supply lines. We use acoustic leak detection, thermal imaging, and pressure testing to locate the source before opening anything up.
From hidden leaks and broken fixtures to mystery noises in the wall, we handle the everyday plumbing problems that wear a Colorado homeowner down. Real diagnostics, real fixes, real warranty. Same-day service across the Front Range.
Plenty of plumbers will replace a part, charge you, and leave β only for the same problem to come back next month because the actual cause was further upstream. We don't work that way. Every plumbing repair starts with a real diagnosis: where is the water going, why is the pressure dropping, what's making that sound when nothing's running.
That extra ten minutes of investigation is the difference between a permanent fix and a recurring service call. It's also why our work tends to come with a warranty most quick-turn outfits can't match. Whether you need leak detection, faucet repair, toilet installation, or a complete repipe, we approach every job the same way: understand the whole system, fix the root cause, stand behind the work.
Common repairs we handle every week in homes across Denver, Aurora, Lakewood, Boulder, and the entire Front Range.
Hidden leaks behind walls, under slabs, or in supply lines. We use acoustic leak detection, thermal imaging, and pressure testing to locate the source before opening anything up.
Repair or replace any brand of kitchen, bath, or utility faucet. Cartridge replacements, full swaps, and high-end fixture installs. Moen, Delta, Kohler, Grohe, Hansgrohe, Brizo β we work with all of them.
Running toilets, weak flush, leaking base, wax ring failure. We carry common toilet parts and can replace whole units the same day. Standard, comfort-height, and bidet-toilet combos.
Jammed, leaking, humming but not running, or just dead. We troubleshoot, repair when worth it, and replace when it isn't. We install InSinkErator, Waste King, and Moen disposals.
From the meter to the house, or interior supply lines. Pinhole leaks, freeze damage, corroded galvanized β we replace with PEX or copper to current code.
Leaks under your concrete foundation are serious and often hidden. We use specialized equipment to locate slab leaks accurately and recommend the least-invasive repair option.
A failing pressure-reducing valve causes water hammer, fixture damage, and high water bills. We test pressure, replace failed regulators, and ensure your home stays in the safe range.
Frozen or stuck shut-off valves, leaking hose bibs, and main shut-off replacements. Small parts that make a big difference when they fail at the wrong moment.
Old galvanized or failing copper getting expensive to maintain? We do whole-house PEX or copper repipes β typically 2-5 days for a complete project.
The most expensive plumbing repairs are the ones you don't catch in time. A pinhole leak in a wall can quietly drip for months, soaking insulation, growing mold, and rotting framing. By the time you see a water stain on the ceiling, you're often looking at thousands in restoration on top of the actual repair.
Modern leak detection doesn't require tearing into walls and floors hoping to find something. We use:
The result: we open the smallest possible access point in the right place, instead of guessing and creating unnecessary repairs.
A leaking faucet wastes water and money β a faucet dripping once per second wastes over 3,000 gallons per year. Most leaks are caused by a worn cartridge or O-ring and can be repaired in 30-45 minutes with a $25 part. For older faucets where multiple parts are failing or the chrome is pitted, replacement is usually more cost-effective. We work with all major brands and can match your existing fixture style.
A running toilet is the most common β and most expensive β plumbing nuisance. A continuously running toilet can waste 200+ gallons per day. The fix is usually a $20 flapper or fill valve. If your toilet rocks at the base, leaks at the floor, or won't flush properly even after parts replacement, full replacement may be the better call. We install standard, comfort-height (ADA), and water-saving high-efficiency toilets.
Pinhole leaks in copper, freeze damage to PEX, and corroded galvanized steel β Colorado homes have all of them. We repair active leaks immediately and assess whether spot repair or repipe makes more sense long-term. PEX has become the standard for residential repipes because of its durability, freeze-resistance, and lower cost.
If your shower has lost pressure over the years, or fixtures throughout the house have dropped, the cause could be a failing pressure regulator, a leaking water main, mineral buildup in pipes, or partially closed valves. We test pressure throughout the system and identify the actual cause β replacing a regulator is often a sub-$500 fix that restores pressure dramatically.
If your home was built before 1960, there's a good chance some or all of your supply piping is galvanized steel. Galvanized pipes corrode from the inside, gradually restricting flow and eventually failing. Signs your home may need a repipe:
Modern repipes use PEX (cross-linked polyethylene) or copper. PEX is faster to install, less expensive, more freeze-resistant, and has become the residential standard. Copper still has a place where exposed pipes need to look traditional, or where local code requires it. A typical whole-house repipe takes 2-5 days and includes restoring drywall and finishes after we're done.
Most established plumbing companies (including ours) work on flat-rate pricing rather than hourly. You get the price before work starts, with no surprises if a job takes longer than expected. Hourly rates can encourage rushing or, conversely, padding the time. Flat-rate pricing aligns our incentive with yours: do the job right, the first time, in the most efficient way.
We quote in writing, before we start. You see the labor, the parts, and any options. Flat-rate where it makes sense, time-and-materials when that's fairer to you. No surprise charges at the end. If something unexpected comes up mid-repair (it sometimes does β old houses have surprises), we stop, explain, and get your sign-off before continuing.
Some plumbing issues can wait a day or two; some really shouldn't. As a general rule:

Plumber rates in Colorado typically range from $100-$250 per hour, with most flat-rate repairs falling between $150-$650 depending on complexity. Common services: faucet repair $150-$350, toilet repair $125-$300, leak detection $200-$500, pressure regulator replacement $300-$500.
Common signs include unexplained higher water bills, running water sounds when nothing is on, warm spots on the floor (slab leak), musty smells, water stains on ceilings or walls, and the meter spinning when no water is being used. We use acoustic leak detection, thermal imaging, and pressure testing.
Usually a faulty flapper, a fill valve that won't shut off, or a chain that's catching. Most can be fixed with a $20 part. A constantly running toilet wastes over 200 gallons per day.
Multiple pinhole leaks in copper, rust-colored water, low water pressure throughout, frequent leak repairs, or galvanized steel pipes (homes built before 1960). Modern repipes use PEX or copper and typically take 2-5 days.
Water hammer is the loud banging when water is suddenly stopped. Fixes include water hammer arrestors, securing loose pipes, replacing waterlogged air chambers, or adjusting your home's water pressure if it's above 80 PSI.
Call a pro for: gas line work, water heater installation, anything behind walls or under slabs, sewer issues, pipe replacement, and any work requiring permits. DIY is reasonable for: changing a fixture supply line, replacing a flapper, plunging a clog, or installing a new shower head.
Yes, we offer same-day plumbing repair across Colorado for most non-emergency issues, and 24/7 emergency response for active leaks, no water, sewage backups, or gas leaks.
Faucet repair: 30-60 minutes. Toilet repair: 30-90 minutes. Leak detection plus repair: 1-3 hours. Water line replacement: 2-4 hours. Whole-house repipe: 2-5 days. Most single repairs are completed in one visit.
Most small plumbing problems get expensive when they're ignored. We'll fix it right the first time β and we'll tell you honestly if it can wait.
