These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of services provided by Everett Plumbing and Drains Inc ("we," "our," or "us") and the use of our website. By engaging our services or using our website, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
Everett Plumbing and Drains Inc provides residential and commercial plumbing services including, but not limited to: plumbing repair, sewer line repair and replacement, drain cleaning, water heater installation and service, boiler service, and emergency plumbing response. The specific scope of any work will be detailed in a written quote or work order before service begins.
2. Quotes and Estimates
We provide written quotes for service before work begins. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Quotes are based on the visible scope of work and information available at the time. If unforeseen conditions are discovered during the work β such as hidden damage, code issues, or material conditions not previously visible β we will stop, communicate the change, and obtain your authorization before proceeding with any additional work or charges.
3. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of services unless other terms have been agreed in writing. We accept cash, check, major credit cards, and approved financing. Past-due balances may accrue interest at the maximum rate permitted by Colorado law. You agree to pay reasonable collection and legal costs incurred in collecting past-due amounts.
4. Workmanship Warranty
We warrant our workmanship for a period specified in your invoice or work order, typically one (1) year from completion of service unless otherwise stated. If a problem arises within the warranty period that is the result of our workmanship, we will return and remedy it at no additional charge for labor.
Manufacturer warranties on parts and equipment are passed through to you per the manufacturer's terms. We will assist with warranty claims but are not responsible for manufacturer defects beyond the scope of those warranties.
The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, neglect, alterations made by others, acts of nature, freezing, foreign objects in drains or pipes, or normal wear and tear.
5. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide safe, reasonable access to the work area
- Disclose known issues with the property's plumbing system
- Move personal belongings, valuables, and breakable items from the work area before our arrival when possible
- Notify us of any underground utilities, structures, or sensitive areas that may affect the work
- Make timely payment per the agreed terms
6. Permits and Inspections
Many plumbing services require permits and inspection by local authorities. Where required, we will pull permits and arrange inspections as part of the service. Permit fees are typically passed through at cost and are itemized on your invoice.
7. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We understand schedules change. Please give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made less than 2 hours before a scheduled appointment may be subject to a trip fee.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Colorado law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to our services is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service that gave rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost income, data loss, or property damage beyond the immediate scope of repair, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
9. Insurance
We carry general liability and workers' compensation insurance as required by Colorado law. Proof of insurance is available upon request.
